ABOUT THE PORT

Pavlodar River Port JSC is a multi-purpose terminal with technological capabilities to ensure transshipment and transportation of various types of cargo in the amount of up to 6.5 million tons per year.

More than 20 years of experience in various projects, such as clearing, dredging and shore protection works in riverbeds and canals, reconstruction of sewage treatment plants and construction of sewer networks and structures.

PORT HISTORY
1955

Pavlodar River Port JSC is one of the active ports on the Irtysh River. The project of the modern Pavlodar river port was first developed in 1955 by the design institute "Giprorechtrans" on the instructions of the Ministry of the River Fleet of the USSR.

1965

Since 1965, the former wharf of Pavlodar, by the decree of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR, was renamed the Pavlodar River Port. Since that moment, the river port equipped with the latest transshipment equipment has fully started functioning in Pavlodar.

1980

By the mid-1980s, the Pavlodar River Port had become the largest transshipment base. In terms of cargo transshipment, the Pavlodar River Port was in first place among the forty river ports of the Soviet Union. During this period, on average, about 6.5 million tons of various cargoes were transported per year.

2001

In 2001, Pavlodar River Port JSC acquired the status of a private enterprise. A new stage in its history has begun.
